Privacy Policy

When you submit an enquiry or request a quote, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, address, postcode, property type, service requirements, preferred cleaning frequency, access information, additional notes and any photos you choose to upload.

If you contact us by phone, email or text message, we may keep a record of that communication so we can respond and manage the service.

This website currently does not use analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel.

Property photos are requested so we can assess the work needed and provide a more accurate quote. Uploaded photos are compressed during form submission and attached to the enquiry email sent to Ollie's Pure Water Window Cleaning.

Server copies of uploaded photos are deleted after a successful email attachment where possible. If an attachment cannot be sent safely, for example because a file is too large or cannot be processed, the server may keep a temporary copy and include a fallback link in the enquiry email so the request is not lost.

Email copies of photos remain in the mailbox as part of the enquiry or customer record.

We use your information to respond to enquiries, assess requested work, provide quotes, arrange visits, carry out agreed services, manage customer communication and keep basic business records.

We may also use your contact details to follow up on an enquiry or discuss services that are relevant to work you have asked about or received. We do not sell your personal information.

Physical flyers may be delivered locally to advertise services. This does not normally involve collecting personal information.

For enquiries, quotes and customer communication, we usually process your information because it is necessary to take steps before entering into a service agreement, to provide services you have requested, or because there is a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and managing the business.

Where information is needed for accounting, tax or legal records, it may be kept to comply with legal obligations.

Information may be processed by service providers that help run the website and receive enquiries, including 20i/StackCP hosting, Cloudflare Turnstile spam protection and the email/mailbox provider used to receive and store enquiry emails.

Information may also be shared if required by law, regulation, tax, accounting or legal processes.

Enquiries that do not become customers are normally kept for up to 12 months, unless there is a clear reason to keep them for longer, such as an ongoing discussion or dispute.

Customer and job records may be kept while you remain a customer and for up to 7 years after the customer relationship ends, where needed for accounting, tax, legal or business record purposes.

Server copies of uploaded photos are intended to be deleted after successful email attachment, unless fallback access is needed because the attachment process could not complete safely.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information. You can also object to certain uses of your information or ask for processing to be restricted, depending on the circumstances.

To make a request, email privacy@ollieswindows.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how your information is handled.

We do not currently run email analytics or automated online marketing through this website. If we contact existing customers about relevant services by phone, email or text, you can ask us to stop at any time.

Any future marketing activity will be handled in line with applicable privacy and electronic marketing rules.
